ABC has canceled Missing, Pan Am and The River. That’s in addition to GCB,  the Texas-set comedy, starring Kristin Chenoweth and Leslie Bibb, after just one season. Pan Am got off to a solid start, at least on Sunday nights, but eventually crashed in the ratings. Missing and The River never really found an audience.

Earlier this week, Revenge and Once Upon a Time were picked up for second seasons, and today, Shonda Rhimes’ Scandal was also given a second season.

ABC also has ordered additional seasons of its medical dramas Private Practice (sixth season), and Body of Proof (Season 3), and the racy freshman sitcom Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23. Other shows renewed are Happy Endings, The Middle, Modern Family and Suburgatory.
